U.S. & Canada

Alarm kit prices include shipping by UPS ground service in the U.S. and Canada (2 - 6 days) as well as all duties and customs processing. Free shipping also applies to other parts and accessories on U.S. and Canadian orders over U.S.$100.

World Wide

We sell and ship anywhere world wide by UPS air service, with all shipping, duties and customs processing included, priced in your currency. Email or call us for a quote. Prices outside North America are slightly higher, but not by much, as our high shipping volume enables economic air shipping prices.

Alarm prices quoted below are for single units. Volume prices, however, start as low as 10 units. We will be happy to email you a detailed price list.

Commercial Kits

Commercial Kits don't include keys and glue; you order these separately. You only need one glue cartridge for every 6 alarms (or for every 4 Sonic Shock Plasma alarms), and you'll neither need nor want more than a few keys. Since most of our customers are ordering multiple units, we've taken the glue & keys out, reduced the alarm kit price , and you buy only what you need. (You may in the past have purchased some Sonic Shock alarms from distributors and found a glue and 2 keys included "free". Trust us, they weren't free.)

Glue

Our glue is a two part methylmethacrylate adhesive resistant to mechanical shock (hammer blows for example) three times stronger than the best commercial two part epoxies, and 50% stronger than any commercial cyanoacrylate adhesive (eg. Locktite®, Krazy Glue®, Super Bond®).

One cartridge is ample to glue six Sonic Shock 5, 4, or 3 mounting plates or four Sonic Shock Plasma/Sonic Shock 2 alarms (ie. install six Sonic Shock 4 alarms or four Sonic Shock Plasma/Sonic Shock 2 alarms).

Methylmethacrylate has a "best before" shelf life of 9 months. We suggest you order no more than your foreseeable requirements.

Sonic Shock kits already come with a mounting plate, but you may want extras to relocate existing alarms to newer equipment.

There are three sizes - you should specify which:

• Sonic Shock 5 (part no. 320-SS5)
• Sonic Shock 3 or 4 (part no. 320-SS4)
• Sonic Shock 2 (part no. 320-SS2) The Sonic Shock 2, 3 & 4 alarms are discontinued, but replacement plates are available.
• Sonic Shock Plasma (part no. 320-SSP)

You may also want to order additional Plastic Welder - we suggest one cartridge for every six Sonic Shock 5/4/3 plates, every four Sonic Shock Plasma plates, or every four Sonic Shock 2 plates.

Sonic Shock Remote Output

Remote Output is an accessory kit which provides a dry contact output for connection to most "normally closed" external alarm monitoring systems. The kit includes a 3 metre (10 foot) wire pair output to connect to a lead from your external monitoring panel.

This kit can only be retrofitted to Sonic Shock 4 alarms or the currently shipping Sonic Shock Plasma. Please call if you're not sure.

Trapline

TrapLine includes the TrapLine Sensor and a 1 metre (3 foot) sensor line extension. TrapLine requires at one Sonic Shock alarm to function. You can, however, daisy chain an unlimited number of TrapLine sensors, all monitored by one Sonic Shock Alarm.
