All Sonic Shock alarms monitor a sensor line which is plugged into the alarm. The alarm triggers if anyone unplugs, cuts, or tampers with elements of the sensor.
We offer two types of primary sensors - our Standard Sensor Tether™, and Anchor Point™.

Sonic Shock Alarms normally come with our 10 foot (3 metre) Standard Sensor Tether. You make a lasso with the small loop at one end, and snare something object that is fixed, big, or heavy – a ceiling beam, plumbing, or electrical conduit for example. The other end of the tether plugs into the Sonic Shock alarm.
Anchor PointAvailable as an optional substitute for the Standard Tether, Sonic Shock Anchor Point is for places where you have nothing on which to snare the Standard Tether – wall mounted televisions for instance. Anchor Point consists of a small self-adhesive module which you simply peel and stick to a wall, floor, or furniture. You plug one end of the monitoring cable into the Anchor Point box, the other into the Sonic Shock alarm. The Anchor Point box has detector switch & assembly which will trigger the Sonic Shock alarm should a thief attempt either to remove or tamper with the Anchor Point Box.
As with the Standard Tether, Sonic Shock alarm will also trigger should a thief unplug or cut the cable linking the Sonic Shock to the Anchor Point.
Anchor Point comes with a 3 foot connecting wire – the short length so that thieves who try to tamper with sensor or the alarm are forced to do so with the television suspended. We can, however, supply longer lengths if needed.
